It is a semitransparent to semitranslucent agate with suspended round “dots” of contrasting colors. Polka Dot agate has lots of variety in the patterns, and all the interesting details are often found right alongside each other.

This gorgeous, handcrafted necklace was made with a large, polished slice of richly-textured moss agate, set in solid Sterling silver wire, woven elaborately to frame the contours of the stone. Three polished, iolite spheres, set in herringbone weaves cascade down the sides. The wire was oxidized and polished to an aged finish. This pendant comes suspended on an 18″ Sterling silver chain.
