Because the antler’s core is grainy, I lined the inside with a non-toxic, acrylic, furniture finish. I finished the lid, and inlaid a 25 x 18 mm. snowflake obsidian cabochon on the top. For the neckpiece, I strung gray Labradorite ovals; snowflake obsidian, onyx and bone rounds; and hematite rounds and rondelles on sturdy, braided, waxed, artificial sinew.
