I finished the lid, and carved two mushrooms. Because the antler’s core is grainy, I lined the inside with a non-toxic, acrylic, furniture finish. For the neckpiece, I strung dyed howlite discs and rounds; rose quartz, onyx and bone rounds; and brass donuts, rondelles and rounds; on sturdy, braided, artificial sinew.
